These terms are designed to ensure a seamless travel experience, underpinned by mutual respect and understanding between Druk Holidays and our valued clients.

Booking and Payments

  • Reservations: A deposit is required to secure your booking. The specific amount and payment schedule will be provided at the time of booking.
  • Final Payment: The balance of your trip cost is due no later than 60 days before departure. Failure to make the final payment on time may result in the cancellation of your booking.
  • Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed-upon methods.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation by the Client: Cancellations must be made in writing. The date of cancellation will be the date the written notice is received by Druk Holidays. Cancellation fees will apply, varying according to the time of cancellation relative to the departure date.
  • Cancellation by Druk Holidays: We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control. In such cases, a full refund of payments received will be issued.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory for all clients. Your travel insurance must cover accidents, medical expenses, emergency repatriation, and personal liability, including coverage for all activities offered by Druk Holidays. We also recommend insurance to cover cancellation, curtailment, loss of luggage and personal effects.

Health and Fitness

Clients must be in good physical and mental health to participate in our tours and treks. It is the client’s responsibility to assess their own capability and to select a trip of an appropriate difficulty level. Druk Holidays reserves the right to deny participation to anyone deemed unsuitable for a trip.

Liability

Druk Holidays shall not be liable for any loss, damage, accidents, injuries, or expenses that may occur during your trip. While we strive to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all our clients, events beyond our control can occur, and we expect clients to be prepared for such risks.

Passports, Visas, and Legal Requirements

  • Travel Documents: Clients are responsible for ensuring that their passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond the end of their trip and that they have all necessary visas and permits.
  • Compliance with Laws: Clients must comply with the laws and regulations of the countries visited and follow the guidance of Druk Holidays representatives during the trip.

Changes to Itineraries

While Druk Holidays makes every effort to adhere to planned itineraries, we reserve the right to make changes for the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of our clients. This includes alterations due to weather, political situations, or other factors beyond our control.

Privacy Policy

Client privacy is of utmost importance to us. Personal information collected by Druk Holidays will be used solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

Acceptance of Risk

Travel to Bhutan and Tibet involves inherent risks, and clients must acknowledge and accept these risks as part of the agreement with Druk Holidays. Clients are responsible for understanding the nature of their chosen trip and the risks involved.
